Basic Indian Gravy for Subzi

Many Indian Subzi / Shaak require Gravy to cook. You can make this gravy and use to make different Subji. You can also store in freezer to keep long.



Onion - 2 Pc. Large Size
Tomato - 2 Pc Medium Size
Grated Garlic - 2 Tsp.
Grated Ginger - 1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp.
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp.
Red Chili Powder - 1 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder  - ½ Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tsp.
Fenugreek - ½ Tsp.
Oil - 3 Tbsp.

Grind Onion and Tomato in grinder separately by adding little water and make a fine paste.
Heat the oil on medim flame.
Add Onion paste cook for 1 minute.
Add Tomato paste cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add Ginger - Galic and cook 2 more minutes.
Add Water as per requirement.
Add all masala and cook till you see oil seprate from gravy.
Let it cool before use.
Use this gravy to make different Subzi.
